EV charging that fits your vehicles and your power
Fleet depots, workplaces and public sites across Chennai and India — Syncsine sizes the connection, picks the AC/DC mix and commissions charging that matches how your vehicles actually operate.
Where EV projects usually stall
The connection is the bottleneck
Chargers are the easy part. Sanctioned load, transformer and cabling decide whether the project is smooth — or stuck in a load-enhancement queue.
Wrong mix, weak payback
Idle DC bays and queues at AC points mean the business case never closes. Sizing to real dwell times and mileage is what makes utilisation work.
Systems that have to stay up
Chargers must talk to load management and billing, and keep running through heat, dust and an uneven supply — especially on Indian industrial campuses.
What Syncsine delivers on site
An EV site is an electrical project first. We size the connection, choose the charger mix, design load management and tie it into your operations and billing — so you are not left with hardware that the grid cannot feed.
Study and design
Measurements, calculations and drawings you can take to tender or straight to order.
Equipment supply
Tier-1 components chosen for your duty — not a catalogue push.
System integration
Controls, protection and communications made to work as one system.
Installation supervision
Syncsine engineers on site alongside your electrical contractor.
Testing and commissioning
Acceptance tests, training and a clean handover pack.
Operation and maintenance
Scheduled service, thermography and remote monitoring where useful.
Sites we design for
Fleet depots and logistics hubs
Corporate and IT parks
Residential societies
Hotels and hospitality
Retail, malls and fuel stations
Bus depots and transit
Highway charging plazas
Industrial campuses
From brief to live chargers
1. Listen & measure
We review bills, single-line diagrams and, where needed, run a short measurement campaign on site or remotely.
2. Design & propose
Clear sizing, equipment selection, protection scheme and a costed proposal with expected payback.
3. Build & commission
Supply, installation supervision, testing and documented handover with your contractor.
4. Stay with you
Monitoring options, preventive maintenance and AMC so the system keeps earning its keep.

Common questions
How much power does an EV charging depot need?
Start from energy: vehicles × daily km × kWh/km. Divide by the usable charging window and efficiency for average power, then apply diversity for the peak. A 20-van depot at 150 km/day needs about 900 kWh/day and, with an 8-hour window, roughly 150–400 kVA depending on charger mix. Use the EV Charger Sizing calculator for your fleet.
AC or DC — which should we install?
AC (7.4–22 kW) suits vehicles that stay six hours or more; DC (30–240 kW) suits short dwell or high daily mileage. Most depots mix both: AC overnight, a few DC units for midday top-ups and contingency.
Can we add chargers without a new transformer?
Often yes. Dynamic load management caps combined draw to your sanctioned load, and a battery buffer can absorb short peaks. We check those options before recommending a connection upgrade — they are usually cheaper and faster.
Do you handle DISCOM approvals and metering?
We prepare the load-enhancement application, single-line diagram, earthing and metering scheme, and coordinate with the utility and your contractor through inspection and energisation.
Which standards apply to EV chargers in India?
IS 17017 for conductive charging, CEA safety rules, ARAI or BIS certification of the chargers, IEC 61851 for interoperability, and OCPP 1.6J or 2.0.1 for the charging backend.
